Frequently Asked Questions

People usually come to me when they are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, navigating a life transition, or wanting to understand themselves more deeply. If you are seeking greater awareness, emotional wellbeing, healing, or personal growth, we may be a good fit.

Because the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important factors in successful therapy, I offer a complimentary 15-minute introductory call. This gives us an opportunity to connect, discuss what is bringing you to therapy, and explore whether working together feels right for both of us.

It is not necessarily about liking your therapist, but about feeling safe enough to be yourself, speak honestly, and develop trust over time.

If it becomes clear that I am not the right fit for you, I will do my best to help you find someone who is.

That is completely normal. Many people arrive unsure of what they need, only knowing that something doesn’t feel quite right or that they would like support navigating a particular challenge.

If we decide to proceed, I recommend committing to an initial six weekly sessions. This provides enough time for us to begin establishing trust, develop a deeper understanding of what is happening, and see what becomes possible through the work.

While some people experience shifts quickly, lasting change rarely happens overnight. Therapy is a process. Trust develops through consistency, safety, shared experience, and the therapeutic relationship itself.

You do not need to know exactly where to start. That is something we can explore together.

People seek support for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, chronic illness, or major life transitions. Others come because they feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or are struggling to make sense of patterns that keep repeating in their lives.

Some people are seeking therapy for the first time. Others have spent years exploring personal growth, healing, or self-development. Wherever you are in your journey, my role is not to have all the answers, but to help you better understand yourself, your experiences, and the challenges you are facing.

My work supports people in developing greater awareness, emotional wellbeing, self-understanding, and a more conscious relationship with themselves, others, and their experience of life itself.

Every session is different. Depending on your needs, our work may include therapeutic counselling, nervous system support, self-inquiry, practical tools, emotional processing, and exploring patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Psychotherapy focuses on understanding patterns, emotions, relationships, and healing past wounds. Coaching tends to be more future-focused and action-oriented. Depending on your needs, our work may draw from both.

My work is grounded in therapeutic psychology while remaining open to the deeper questions of meaning, purpose, consciousness, and personal growth. I meet each person where they are.

Yes. I work with individuals, couples, and families.

Yes. In addition to my private practice, I facilitate retreats and immersive experiences that offer space to step away from the demands of everyday life and listen more deeply to what is happening within you.

My retreats bring together neuroscience, therapeutic insight, nervous system awareness, experiential learning, self-inquiry, and practical tools within a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

They are an invitation to pause, reflect, reconnect with yourself, and explore the patterns, emotions, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you relate to yourself, others, and life. They also offer an opportunity to listen more closely to the quieter wisdom within—the part of you that can become difficult to hear amidst the noise and demands of everyday life.
